Uploading to Oropod Storage

Oropod Storage is a simple and reliable cloud service for distributing clips and metadata to Oropod users, and an alternative to keeping your project on a service such as Frame.io. It already carries live projects, but it is not self-service yet: we set up each workspace by hand, so that everyone using it gets proper support while we build the rest.

If you would like to test it, or move a project onto it, email us at info@oropod.com. We will set up a workspace, hand over its credentials and go through what it would cost.

Uploading files

  • You can use any file transfer app that supports SFTP (e.g. Cyberduck, Transmit, or even sftp on the command line or in a script)
  • Connect to sftp.oropod.com on port 2022 (not 22)
  • Each Oropod Storage workspace has its own username/password combination, and it will be different from your own account credentials
  • You can upload, rename and delete files, but not download them. Use the Oropod app itself to view or download clips or other files.
