Using the file view

  • This lets you view a file
  • Oropod currently supports video files, with a standard player, allowing you to pause/play, scrub, toggle full-screen etc.
  • It shows the same core metadata as the file list
  • To see more metadata, tap/click A (the ⓘ button)
  • If you are allowed to download the file, B (the download button) will appear next to the filename
  • If there are multiple versions of the file, there will be a button to switch between them next to the filename
  • Tap C (up) or D (down) in the navigation bar to go to the previous or next file. At the start or end of the list, the matching button is dimmed.

  • Tap the button to begin downloading the file
  • A new button (a circled ↓) will appear in the navigation bar
  • Tap/click this button to monitor download progress, and to open the file when it’s ready
  • It’s a good idea to remove the file from the downloads list after you’re done, to conserve storage
