In Frame.io projects, Oropod imports the metadata fields you fill in on each clip in Frame.io, and shows all of them when viewing the clip’s metadata. The fields listed below also let you navigate your dailies by day, scene, shot and take.
If your project already produces Pomfort Silverstack XML or DaVinci Resolve CSV reports, it’s usually faster and easier to upload them to your Frame.io project together with the clips. Oropod imports them from there, just as from any other storage.
If a report and a Frame.io field disagree about day, scene, shot, take or camera, the report wins. Oropod merges tags from both.
Frame.io’s own fields are handy on smaller projects without such reports, or for adding to a few clips by hand.
Keywords is one of Frame.io’s standard fields. Create the others in your Frame.io project as Text fields, named exactly as below. Frame.io’s Getting Started: How do I use metadata? explains how to create fields and fill them in.
Scenes: one or more scene numbers separated by commas, e.g. 12 or 12, 14AShot: e.g. 3Take: e.g. 2Camera: one or two letters, e.g. AShoot Day Number: e.g. 12Shoot Date: in YYYY-MM-DD format, e.g. 2026-08-13Keywords: shown as tags in Oropod. Include the keyword circled to indicate that a clip is circledOropod still shows a value it can’t read, such as a Shoot Date in another format, with the clip’s metadata, but doesn’t use it for navigation.
Oropod doesn’t currently import Frame.io comments.
